While it is quite interesting to see a car being lifted up into an apartment like this, we can’t help but think about what the owner will do should he ever want to actually drive the car. If money is really no object to them then they’d likely have to pay several hundreds of thousands of dollars to have a new crane constructed and then pay for the Rolls-Royce to be lowered back down to ground level.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen an absurdly wealthy individual do something like this. In May, a multi-millionaire in Melbourne, Australia had his GTR craned inside his $39 million, 57th-floor penthouse apartment. In that instance, the owner acknowledged that the car would likely have to live out the rest of its days in the apartment as removing it would be almost impossible.
