A 12-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after being injured by a firework in Liverpool.
The boy, who had injuries to both his head and body, was taken to hospital.Merseyside Police said in a statement: ‘We can confirm we received a report that a child had been injured as a result of a firework being set alight in Huyton today, Sunday 25 September.
‘At around 2.45pm it was reported that a 12-year-old boy was injured in the head and body from a firework in the garden of a property on Pennard Avenue.
