Guro Reiten scored four as Chelsea thrashed Bristol City to keep their Women's Super League title hopes alive.
Substitute Catarina Macario played in Reiten to complete her hat-trick and Niamh Charles converted from the American's free-kick to make it six. They remain second for now, but if they beat Spurs they will go back to the summit with at least a two-goal edge over City on goal difference. But over the years, once the door is left ajar for Hayes' Chelsea, more often than not they charge straight through it.
Having escaped those near-misses, Chelsea were relentless as the game went on with Reiten at the heart of everything and unerring in front of goal. Attempt missed. Millie Bright right footed shot from very close range misses to the left. Assisted by Catarina Macário with a cross following a corner.Attempt saved. Johanna Rytting Kaneryd right footed shot from the centre of the box is saved in the top right corner. Assisted by Guro Reiten.Substitution, Bristol City Women.
