Chelsea ‘expect’ defender Trevoh Chalobah to leave the club in January, after he turned down a move to Nottingham Forest in the summer window.
Chalobah, however, turned down the chance to move to the City Ground, due to preferring a loan move to Bayern, a deal which fell through in the final hours of the transfer window. The 24-year-old is yet to make an appearance under new manager Mauricio Pochettino this season, and it seems that a decision has already been made over his future. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano , both Chelsea and Chalobah ‘expect to part ways in January’ in order for the player to get more game time.
