KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 12 — Celebrity chef Datuk Redzuawan Ismail — better known as Chef Wan — revealed in an Instagram post that his mother, Noraini Abdullah, passed away this morning at 93 years of age.Noraini, fondly known as “Cik Ani” breathed her last at 6.02am in her sleep at Gleneagles Hospital, Ampang.According to mStar, the chef’s mother was admitted to Gleneagles Hospital 10 days ago when her health worsened after fighting cancer and other illnesses including Alzheimer's and dementia.
“Waiting for your loved one's soul to slip away, it's the most painful feeling,” he wrote in one of the posts.
