For the millions of people who use mobility aids or have special needs, finding a Halloween or simply dressing up like their favorite character for fun can be difficult. To help close this costume gap and give everyone the ability to dress up and dream, Disney recently expanded its adaptive costume line, including new designs inspired by movie blockbusters likeIntroduced in 2021, Disney’s adaptive costumes are created with special modifications to accommodate wheelchairs and other unique needs.
“I’m thrilled that through the expansion of our Adaptive Roleplay collection, we can further connect our iconic franchises with fans and families worldwide through thoughtful design that allows everyone to take part in their favorite stories and worlds,” Stephanie Young, president of consumer products, games and publishing said in a press release.
