There were scenes of chaos at Chester Zoo today, March 17, as people were forced to turn around due to ‘horrendous’ queues into the wildlife park.

Our teams are out there directing traffic and trying to help people in and out but every space in our car park is now taken.”Replying back to them, a customer said: “Surely you know how many members you have and tickets have been booked? Should have said when you were sold out. The traffic on the roads is horrendous. Absolutely awful planning this.
Stagecoach Merseyside and Lancashire tweeted: “#Chester...our PR3 service to Upton is being delayed by heavy congestion at Chester Zoo....apologies for the disruption.”
