The Met Office has said this weekend we'll experience temperatures dropping below average.
We've all noticed temperatures dropping this weekend bringing an abrupt ending to the Indian summer.
As the temperatures are dropping, lots of people will feel the need to cave in and put the heating on - that's if you've not done it already. But, with the cost of living crisis lots of people are reluctant to turn up the thermostat. But, it's worth knowing the minimum you should have your heating set because it could be damaging to your health if it's too low.
The NHS has advised people to keep their homes at comfortable temperatures, which is 18C in the rooms you use most often. The health service adds that families with babies should heat rooms between 16C and 20C while they sleep to help reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome, reports YorkshireLive.
