Republican Celeste Maloy is projected to win the Utah 2nd Congressional District special primary election. Becky Edwards conceded the race Wednesday evening and Bruce Hough fell behind by more than 11 percentage points.

Each county with voters living in the 2nd District has two weeks, until Sept. 19, to finish tallying the votes, and must send them to Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson’s office by Sept. 22.
