The force secured the highest amount of any policing area in England and Wales through Safer Streets funding
CCTV is set to be installed at a block of flats in a bid to tackle anti-social behaviour. This is part of measures introduced in a Nottinghamshire town which 'needs it most' and to ensure people's safety.

There is no favouritism here – the data shows Eastwood needs it most.
Councillor Richard McRae, Broxtowe Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Community Safety and a member of the Police and Crime Panel, added: “There’s going to be improvements to CCTV cameras and security in places where people live including toughened glass windows. I’m hoping it will make people feel safer and enjoy where they live a lot more. We want people to feel safe where they live.
