David expressed that they haven't discussed or considered it yet, but they love Pauley and she's always welcome in any NCIS franchise.
Executive producer Charles Floyd Johnson revealed that Pauley's departure from the show was influenced by a dog that belonged to Mark Harmon, which she felt was not safe for the set. Ultimately, she decided it was time to move on
