It said to have involved two vehicles. One person was extricated from the crash and handed over to the care of the North West Ambulance Service.A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: "At 16:42 on the 12th January 2023, two fire engines from St Annes and South Shore attended a road traffic collision on Heyhouses Lane, Lytham St Annes.
"The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters extricated one casualty using Holmatro cutting equipment and a long board. The casualty was conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for one hour and fifteen minutes."
