The motorcyclist was so severely injured that he died at Glasgow Royal Infirmary four days later.
Colin Semple, 53, allegedly ploughed into Alexander McNally, 29, in Glasgow's Parkhead on September 25, 2020.
Court papers state Semple was driving without due care or attention behind the wheel of a Peugeot Partner van.It is claimed Semple failed to maintain proper observations and did not give way.Allegations state there was a collision between both vehicles and Mr McNally was thrown from the motorcycle. The charge says that Mr Semple was so severely injured that he died at Glasgow Royal Infirmary four days later.Prosecutor Lauren Sangray said:"The Crown are prepared for trial which is estimated to be four days."Semple, of the city's Castlemilk, had his bail continued meantime.
