Man United suffered another injury blow in the midweek Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle United on Wednesday with Casemiro forced off
Midfielder Casemiro is the latest to join the absentee list having picked up an injury on his return to the side against Newcastle United in midweek. The 3-0 Carabao Cup defeat to the Magpies ended United's defence of the trophy and heaped further pressure on Erik ten Hag and his misfiring team.
The absence of Casemiro, who is set to miss the weekend Premier League trip to Fulham, will further hamper the Reds who have had several first-team players sidelined at various points this season. The Brazil international had only just returned to action after picking up an ankle injury while on international duty last month.
