Jamie Carragher hasn't enjoyed the March international break as Liverpool and other rivals see players pull out of international duty
The former Liverpool and England defender was joined by Gary Neville on his show, The Overlap, and during a discussion about the recent international fixtures, both expressed their feelings about the break to the domestic season.READ MORE: Liverpool were ridiculed after transfer saga but £60m snub has been blessing in disguise
Neville agreed, explaining the reason behind high-profile pull outs earlier this week including Bukayo Saka, Ben White and Kyle Walker with Kevin de Druyne and Mohamed Salah not selected for their respective nations. Darwin Nunez was another player who pulled out of international duty. "I think when you are in the midst of title run-ins and the Champions League, relegation battles, players and coaches are nervous as hell about getting injuries."
White had left England's camp in Qatar during the last World Cup after reports of a training ground falling out with assistant England boss Steve Holland.
