Firefighters from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to a vehicle blaze on Ferry Gait Drive on Wednesday at around 6.30pm.
Images from the scene show the scorched bonnet completely wrecked and the area is covered in black ash. It appears the hood has been incinerated and what is left of the engine can be seen, covered in black soot and charcoal. Black burn marks across the side of the car where the fire spread can be seen, reports Edinburgh Live.A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We can confirm we were in attendance at Ferry Gait Drive on March 20. We received the call at 6.30pm. There was one fire appliance on scene and there fire was extinguished. There were no casualties.
