A wave of new set photos for Captain America: New World Order confirms returning characters as well as hinting plot points for the upcoming sequel.
Production is underway for Marvel's Captain America: New World Order, and a wave of new set photos has revealed returning characters, first looks at new characters, and hints at the sequel's plot as well. The first Captain America movie to star Anthony Mackie in the titular role after Sam Wilson inherited the shield and name from Steve Rogers, New World Order is shaping up to be a major chapter in Phase 5 that will shake up entire status quo of the MCU.
Captain America 4 Set Photos Reveal Hulk Villain Actor Tim Blake Nelson has also been spotted on set, having been confirmed to be reprising his role from The Incredible Hulk as Doctor Samuel Sterns. In the original Marvel Comics, Sterns became the Hulk villain known as the Leader, his exposure to gamma making him as smart as the Hulk is strong.
Marvel's New Falcon Returns In Captain America 4 Actor Danny Ramirez has been seen shooting scenes with Anthony Mackie as well, confirming his return as Joaquín Torres. Becoming an ally to Sam Wilson in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Torres was given Sam's old set of wings near the series' end, a tease that he'll become the MCU's new Falcon now that Wilson is the new Captain America.
