New: Capital murder suspect killed, Dallas police officer shot in west Oak Cliff, police say

Multiple officers responded to the shooting that occurred in the 2500 block of Bahama Drive near Fort Worth Avenue just after 3 p.m. when police were attempting to serve an arrest warrant for the man shot and killed by police. The suspect is accused in a killing in North Texas, Lowman said without elaborating. The driver was also taken into custody, Lowman said. It is unclear whether he faces any charges.Police declined to release the name of the person shot by police or the driver taken into custody. Police also would not say how many officers were serving the warrant.
