Caoimhin Kelleher will get another chance to impress when he starts in goal for Liverpool against Toulouse in the Europa League on Thursday
Caoimhin Kelleher believes consistently playing in the Europa League for Liverpool will bolster his chances of becoming a first-choice goalkeeper.
The 24-year-old, who is also Liverpool's goalkeeper in the League Cup, has already matched his tally of outings for the whole of the previous campaign.READ MORE: Positive signs' - Jurgen Klopp gives Luis Diaz latest as wait for release of kidnapped father continues “It's really important for me in terms of building up that match sharpness and to get a good run of games is really important for me and my development," said the goalkeeper. "I just want to keep playing and do well to continue my development and continue that ambition to be a number one.
“Of course I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow. I've had two games in this competition already so it's an opportunity for me to get some game time."
