Jerry Martin, 51, died Friday in Vancouver days after he overdosed on fentanyl and was rushed to the hospital. Krista Tomas told Vice.
A Canadian man who opened up a drug store hawking cocaine, meth, heroin, and ecstasy has died of an overdose, according to a report.
Martin’s opened the brick-and-mortar store — aptly named The Drug Store — in May, after British Columbia changed its laws on Jan. 31 to allow adults to possess up to 2.5 grams of drugs including opioids, cocaine, methamphetamine, and MDMA, or ecstasy, for personal use without being arrested. “He’s no more exempt than any other human being on this earth,” Thomas continued. “He had his own trauma and unfortunately, he relapsed.”Courtesy of Jerry Martin
