Test your knowledge of tram stops across the city
The region of Greater Manchester is served by a tram network covering large parts of the area, with the distinctive yellow carriages a hallmark of life in the Capital of the North.
First opening in 1992 with the Bury to Altrincham line, the network has expanded in the 31 years since to total a hefty 99 stops scattered over eight different lines. Tracks now extend as far north as Rochdale and reach all the way down to Manchester Airport, with the current tram system taking over from the original which shut well over half a century ago in 1949.
With the Metrolink network providing such a valuable service to Mancunians across the region, we've put together a quiz to see just how well you know the lines. To test yourself, see if you can spot the Manchester tram stops in our quiz below or via this link if it isn't displaying.
