Well, you’ll see them in the makeup brand’s ads, including the new video clip for the brand’s Naked Ultraviolet palette, which is filled with powerful purple shadows to amp up your smoky eye. Like all of the brand’s iconic Naked palettes, there are plenty of peachy tones to serve as a base, while a sparkly indigo called Purple Dust, a vivid violet called Cyber Punk, and an electric pink called Warning turn the volume way, way up.
But the partnership goes deeper for both Normani and Camila, who spoke about how they plan to use their platform as Global Citizens to make representation in the beauty industry a permanent feature.in an interview. “I wholeheartedly believe that through this collaboration, I have a real opportunity and obligation to the black community not only to lift my voice but all of theirs through this mission and journey to have more representation and justice inside and out of the beauty industry.
She added on Instagram, “We need to celebrate beauty in every color. We need representation across the beauty industry and I hope to use my platform to amplify the voices of my community.” Camila also spoke of her lifelong love of Urban Decay on Instagram. “Growing up, I always admired them as a brand that championed diversity and celebrated individuality, and I feel that stronger now than ever,” she said. “It’s important to support brands that actively do the work to be inclusive. Beauty comes in all shapes and colors, and it’s imperative that we see that reflected in the beauty industry.
