Camila Cabello is setting the record straight about the price of her now-infamous Met Gala bag, which was made of actual ice.
At the time, rumors spread that the custom Jane Wade bag, which she wore with a metallic Swarovski crystal Ludovic de Saint Sernin gown, cost over $25,000. However, Cabello is here to put those rumors to rest because her ice bag — which literally melted as she walked the red carpet , a symbol of the “Garden of Time” theme — did not cost that much.
” Cabello told Fallon that the ice block was originally supposed to be a purse with straps, but the strap broke en route, so she had to carry it as a clutch — and it was not her best-case scenario “I get there, I get this purse that we took out of a freezer, which was ice. It’s just a block of ice,” the singer explained. “I didn’t think about the fact that ice very quickly melts. I get there, and it’s just a nightmare situation.
