Call The Midwife star Helen George has promised that the show's Christmas Day episode will be as emotional as ever and will leave fans 'weeping' due to the storyline
Helen George has promised Call The Midwife fans "a quick weep" in the show's emotional Christmas Day special this year.
Confirming the episode had already been filmed, Helen, 39, said: "We filmed it June, in the hot weather. Helen, who confirmed the new full series was already filming, also laughed over a visit to the Call The Midwife museum where she was mistaken for a member of staff by a fan - having recently said that she thought the fan assumed she was a Trixie impersonator.
