Some Huntington Beach residents are questioning the response time to a major oil spill about five miles off the coast of the California beach town. 'By the time it comes to the beach, it's done tremendous damage,' resident Garry Brown said. read more:
A massive oil spill off the coast of Southern California has closed beaches and devastated local wildlife.
The United States Coast Guard is on the scene to investigate the spill and stop the leak. Residents in the areas are advised to avoid swimming, fishing, surfing or walking their dogs near the impacted beaches and Talbert Marshlands.
