Cadillac's new sports car racer will be colorful at Le Mans.
America’s lone representative in IMSA’s new hybrid Grand Touring Prototype class has gone with dynamic shades of red, gold, and blue to distinguish its three Cadillac V-LMDh factory entries fielded by Action Express Racing and Chip Ganassi Racing. The color choices are taken from within the brand’s V-Series logo which blends into uniform usages of black on the back half of the 670-hp hybrid V-8-powered endurance racing machines.
The trio will make their competition debuts later this month at IMSA’s January 28-29 season opener in Florida.“Cadillac is ready to compete against the very best in North America and internationally — including one of the world’s toughest races, the 24 Hours of Le Mans,” said Cadillac Global VP Rory Harvey. “As Cadillac builds toward an all-electric future, the all-new V-LMDh furthers our dedication to exploring new advanced performance technologies.
