The ECHO understands that Barbara Kennedy's family were not the only ones impacted
Barbara Kennedy, from Anfield, said that her family had booked a table at the Cabbage Hall Bar & Grill, on Breck Road in Anfield, to celebrate the mums in their lives. She said that to avoid the mad dash for a table in the weeks before Mother's Day, the family prepared months in advance by booking a meal with the restaurant in January.
“The manager said she had emailed everyone that morning and said she couldn’t do anything about it. She was rude and was still serving people and wouldn’t stop to talk to us.” The ECHO understands that another group of diners were also turned away when Barbara was present. She branded the manager she spoke with, named Bev, as "rude".
