ICYMI: Bye week well-timed for Riders' Cody Fajardo
That was evident from the comments made by the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ quarterback after Friday’s 32-17 loss to the visiting B.C. Lions.
Friday’s result dropped the Riders’ record to 4-4 and they head into the bye fourth in the West Division. They have also lost three consecutive games to fall to .500. Fajardo has battled a wonky left knee since the Riders defeated the Edmonton Elks 26-16 on June 18. He recently revealed that there is damage to the medial collateral ligament in the knee. The Riders aren’t scheduled to play until Aug. 13 when they are in Edmonton.
