At least two people are in a serious condition in hospital after a bus crashed into a shelter near Piccadilly Gardens.
The road was taped off between Oldham Street and Lever Street until around 6am this morning and the bus stop outside Travelodge remains closed. “Our first thoughts are for those affected by the incident and their families. Safety is our absolute priority and we are supporting the investigation into the circumstances involved in any way that we can.”
