A BUS has crashed into a block of flats in Paisley leaving it wedged into a wall with five people rushed to hospital with injuries.Emergency crews were called to the scene at about 12.20 in the afternoon after a McGill's bus crash ed into a high-rise block of flats .
Hamilton Court has been cordoned off, with several roads closed for safety - including Calside Avenue, Polsons Crescent, Craw Road and Alexandra Gate.Details about the cause of the crash are still unclear.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Five people have been taken to hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for McGill’s Buses said: "This is a live incident and McGill’s personnel are in attendance to establish the detail of the crash. We cannot comment further at this stage."BBC Scotland News
