Tony Docherty has reassured Rangers the Dens Park pitch will be ready for their visit on Wednesday night.
Further rain is anticipated to hit Tayside on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of Philippe Clement and his troops making the journey to the City of Discovery. However, Docherty insists he has had assurances the game WILL go ahead and has no concerns over a FIFTH KO of the season due to the weather. Asked if he had any concerns, the Dundee boss said: "No, I don't. All I know is there is a game on Wednesday and my job is to prepare the team for that.
The surface at Dundee has come in for major criticism this season. Stuart Kettlewell let rip at the weekend ahead of Motherwell's clash on the turf. Docherty concedes he wants the best possible pitch for his side but says it is not something he is comfortable discussing as he is not qualified in that area.
