Four fire engines were sent out
Firefighters have spent several hours at the scene of a huge blaze in Radcliffe. to a barn fire on Ringley Road West shortly before 2.30pm today .
It's understood there were no injuries following the incident and residents were evacuated. Dramatic images from the scene show huge plumes of smoke pouring out from a barn that appears to have been gutted by the fire.READ MORE: BREAKING: GMP up powers in town after third knife attack in four days as violence between rival gangs escalatesHoses were placed along the road that was blocked in both directions as firefighters battled to get the blaze under control.
“Firefighters are using three jets, two hose reels, and a handheld jet to extinguish the fire. Crews remain at the scene to make the area safe.”
