David Njoku delivered a sizzling fastball from the mound prior to Monday's game between Cleveland and Minnesota.
Njoku is entering his seventh season with the Browns with career totals of 206 catches for 2,382 yards and 19 touchdowns in 79 career games. But the 6-foot-4, 245-pound receiver looked like a natural throwing from the mound on Monday.
It’s not the first time Njoku has taken the mound at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario. Back in 2017, the former University of Miami pass catcher was part of a trio of Browns first-round picks who tossed pregame first pitches before the Cleveland Indians matched up against the Seattle Mariners. Njoku was joined by top overall pick Myles Garrett and Michigan defensive back Jabrill Peppers.
