Jerome Ford is 'optimistic' he might be able to face the Seahawks Sunday despite a high ankle sprain.
BEREA, Ohio -- Browns running back Jerome Ford made a surprising return to practice Friday afternoon, and is ‘optimistic’ he might be able to face the Seahawks on Sunday in Seattle despite his right high ankle sprain.

We’re actually working toward making sure I feel good and that kind of stuff right now. So we’ll see.”
The other good news for the Browns from a running back standpoint is that Kareem Hunt, who battled back from a thigh injury in Indy, doesn’t have an injury designation for the game and will play despite being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. “A bunch of guys that get some injuries throughout the course of practice and then you’ve got to fight through it,” Kevin Stefanski said. “But good to have him back out there.”
But the Browns are certainly hoping that Wills can rally and face the Seahawks’ aggressive defense, which is tied for fifth in the NFL with 23 sacks. Will is coming off his two best games of the season, and the Browns are hoping he can build on those performances for a strong finish.
