CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns avoided one scare with a key player on Sunday but lost another starter a few minutes later.
One series after wide receiver Amari Cooper went down and got his knee looked at, right tackle Jack Conklin went down on an incomplete pass to Cooper and was carted to the locker room with 12:13 left in the game. Conklin appeared unable to put weight on his left leg. Bengals pass rusher Trey Hendrickson, rushing from the other side, came around left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. and was pushed into Conklin’s left leg trying to strip sack Watson as he was throwing.He was replaced by rookie fourth-round pick Dawand Jones.
