“It’s emotional. Failing in a very public eye sucks, and I don’t know a better way to put it,” Hammer said. “You keep kind of feeling like alright we’ve seen the other side of this, things are about to be normal again and we watch our business spike, and then omicron starts running rampant and you watch sales decline.”
He and his wife Stephanie Gilewicz started a GoFundMe to raise money to help Brown Bag Provisions and their handmade yogurt line Milk and Patience get back on track.
