BroadwaySF takes 'A Christmas Carol' to the stage and activates its message in real life.
SAN FRANCISCO --"A Christmas Carol," centers around overcoming selfishness and embracing generosity-it's a message to heed not just during the holidays, but every day."I think it's really great that we're not just telling the story of giving, but we're also putting that into action," said"A Christmas Carol" actor Wiley Strasser.
Compass Family Health Center is a San Francisco organization focused on helping families who are experiencing homelessness, and those who are at risk, become stably housed, healthy, and economically self-sufficient. "Our production of 'A Christmas Carol' has partnered with Compass Family Services," explained Strasser."And so, at the end of every show, we're going to be taking donations that will go straight to Compass Family Services, which exist here in the Tenderloin."
