Britney Spears has criticised the 'dumb and silly' press coverage of her memoir and said she didn’t mean 'to offend anyone' with her new tell-all book The Woman in Me
Britney Spears has deactivated her Instagram after revelations from her new book made headlines this week.However the pre-release coverage has already highlighted some of the book's contents which includes details of her relationship with Justin Timberlake.
Britney deactivated her Instagram account after posting a written statement online which read: "My book’s purpose was not to offend anyone by any means! The mum-of-two went on to say that she hopes her book will "enlighten people" who have ever felt alone, hurt or misunderstood.Fans rushed to support Britney and shared their thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Early reports of the book has suggested that the singer writes about an abortion she had while with her then boyfriend Justin Timberlake.She is also believed to detail information about her conservatorship which was said to have caused her to struggle with her mental health.
