An English man has died after the luxury yacht he was travelling on crashed and sank in Italy.
The 63-year-old was unconscious but still alive when rescuers arrived off the coast of Porto Cervo, northern Sardinia, on Sunday evening.He was one of seven people on board the 70ft vessel when it hit rocks near the Li Nibani islands.
Reports suggest the victim may have been the yacht’s owner but his identity has not yet been revealed. Two other people were rushed to hospital and are now in serious conditions, while the rest were treated by medics at the scene.The yacht sank near the famous luxury marina of Porto Cervo
