The Galleries shopping centre and car park in Bristol had been closed for three days.

A shopping centre and multi-storey car park will reopen today after a power outage caused a three-day closure.

The Galleries shopping centre in Bristol, which is home to more than 70 stores and retailers, has been closed to visitors since Monday morning. A spokesperson for the shopping centre said the car park would be open from 06:30 BST and shops from 09:00 BST. "We are looking forward to welcoming customers back into the centre," The Galleries said in a statement.

The spokesperson added "some businesses may take a short while to get up and running again" following the closure and thanked customers for their patience and understanding.more than 300 appointments have been cancelled"We are contacting affected patients directly to rearrange appointments," said a University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust spokesperson.
