A man has died after being hit by a bus on a main road in Longsight. The man, who was aged in his 50s, was knocked down on Stockport Road at around 4.50pm last Thursday .
He suffered 'potentially life-changing injuries' and was in a critical condition. An eyewitness who was on the bus at the time of the incident told the Manchester Evening News: "I was sitting upstairs and the next thing, there was a big bang.
A Stagecoach spokesperson previously said: "Our first priority and thoughts go out to the person affected by this incident, as well as their family and loved ones.
