Jags quarterback Trevor Lawrence couldn't believe some teammates had never been to Waffle House. After the Jags won last week, he changed that.
Mahomes was asked where he celebrated his first playoff victory in 2018 when the Chiefs beat Indianapolis 31-13.
The Jaguars' record dipped to 3-7 after that game, but they since won seven of eight, and six in a row. Lawrence said the team has staged enough comeback victories his season — such as Las Vegas, Baltimore, Dallas and Tennessee — to give them the confidence to rebound against the Chargers."Obviously it gives us confidence," he said."You don't want to do that. But to be able to win a game like that is really, really special."
Pederson said after looking at video of the game, two of Lawrence's interceptions were not necessarily his fault — such as the first, which was deflected — but that also means two of them were.
