Brazilian security forces wrested back control of Congress, the presidential palace and the Supreme Court on Sunday after a flood of ex-president Jair Bolsonaro's supporters stormed the seat of power, unleashing chaos on the capital.
Hundreds of supporters of Brazil's far-right ex-president Jair Bolsonaro broke through police barricades and stormed into Congress, the presidential palace and the Supreme Court. "We patriots were robbed at the polls by Lula," 49-year-old civil servant Isabella Silva told AFP among the throngs.
