For decades, companies making beauty and personal care products catered almost exclusively to white consumers' needs. What few products were created for people of color typically were relegated to a small "ethnic beauty" section in stores. In 2013, Tristan Walker set out to change that by founding Walker & Company Brands. Its mission: to meet the health and beauty needs of people of color on a global scale.
