The Brahmas plan to implement “dummy calls” to send false signals to opponents who are trying to decipher San Antonio’s code words, Ward said. The availability of audio threatens to make that hurdle even more challenging, allowing opponents to learn the cadence of San Antonio’s snap count. Coan said one option for the Brahmas is huddling more to keep signals from being intercepted at the line of scrimmage.
