Boys & girls cross country Top 20s, Sept. 20: Title contenders start to surface

Our latest Top 20 rankings reflects the teams who have shown championship promise thus far.

However, this past week’s slate of meets certainly provided some clarity on which teams will be in the mix for county and conference championships come October. Both the boys and girls Top 20 rankings saw some notable changes as more schools began to claim divisional titles and invitational victories, with several squads making strong cases for a bump in the state rankings.
