The fly squished in the cream of a Morrisons dessert All Andrew Longmore wanted to do was buy his girlfriend a dessert- but it all went wrong. The security officer stopped by his local Morrissons to pick up a cream profiterole sundae for 23-year-old Katie Connolly on his way home from work- But ended up less than impressed when she spotted a big black fly trapped between the cream and the side of the clear tub.
‘But she just told me to go to the back, swap it for two more and let her know as I leave. Katie Connolly with her boyfriend Andrew Longmore ‘I know it’s not their fault individually, they’re part of a team, but a sorry would’ve been nice. ‘It’s just hygiene. If I wanted to buy a fly I would’ve just bought a bin bag. ‘An apology would be nice but mainly I want to make sure their food is healthy for others.
