A boy's eyesight has been saved because of an advanced type of lens that helps with his rapidly declining vision. .
This represents a significant achievement, as Daniel’s prescription had been steadily increasing by 1 dioptre annually. Katrina has also been implementing more frequent breaks from technology and encouraging Daniel to spend more time outside to further improve his eyesight. She added: “It is difficult because you don’t want to stop your kids from having those experiences and opportunities but it’s such a relief to know that these lenses will help to bring some relief for his vision and slow that progression down despite what the future of technology might hold.
