The victim, 14, was walking along Clarendon Road at 4.20pm on January 1 when he was approached by three males.Herts Police say the 16-year-old was arrested but two other males fled. Two 17-year-olds suspected to be involved were then later arrested.The 17-year-olds have been released on bail as enquiries continue, while the 16-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was charged with robbery.
Following his arrest, he was also charged with two further counts of robbery in relation to two separate incidents in September and October 2022, and two counts of witness intimidation. He appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 4, before being remanded in custody.
