James Partington-Duerden, from Waterfoot, just loves Rossendale Radio
A ten-year-old boy will be doing another sponsored walk to raise money for the local community radio station to which he enjoys listening.
Last year he walked 2.3 miles from his home town to Rawtenstall to raise funds for Rossendale Radio. He raised an incredible £3,000 which was a great help in covering the radio station’s bills. His friend Ruben, went to the awards ceremony at Lancashire Constabulary Headquarters in October last year to represent him and pick up his certificate. The awards take place yearly, to find a young person who has helped either their local neighbourhood, an individual, family member or local organisation.
However, James loves dogs so people are welcome to introduce their pups to him. James also loves high-fives.
